Yes, with precautions. We assess skin first and may perform a patch test or use a gentler wax. For active acne, open lesions, or inflamed skin we may postpone and recommend alternative removal methods to avoid aggravation.

Topical retinoids and some acne medications increase skin sensitivity and risk of injury. Disclose any use of Retin-A, Accutane history, or similar treatments; your therapist may advise postponement or a waiting period before waxing.
